impending doom
i don't mean to sound so fatalistic, but i feel this impending doom. all signs lead to nothing good. call me superstitious, but every time manchester united lose a match, something terribly wrong happens.my close friends would know this about me. when man utd crashed out of the champions league two years ago, i watched them lose. and that day, after i loaded the clothes into the washing machine, it acted up and all the clothes got BOILED. needless to say, we had to get a new machine. but it proves that bad luck comes to me when man utd lose. and they've been losing a lot lately, haven't they?
f**king derby. excuse me for swearing. i am not myself today.
also, all the signs have pointed to me not doing well for my first block test. what signs, you may ask? they're pretty discreet, but they're along the lines of me not studying. yep, have been slacking. i've wasted 3 days of my so-called holiday already. and lookee...here i am, writing an entry for this blog when i should be doing physics!
well, things aren't all bad. i don't consider destressing as wasting time. so saturday's youth group talent show wasn't slacking. it was fun, and i'm now all powered to do some serious revising. i have to say that i'm so jealous. the filipinas have all the talent. they can sing, they can dance...they can do everything! hmm...is it too late to change my nationality and identity? hehe.
can't wait to go home. just one week and 3 days to go.
sigh. not really in the mood for much reflective thinking. hope you guys don't mind me. and wish me luck for the exams i didn't study for!
take care...
music that runs tingles down my spine: OST-when harry met sally, feat harry connick jr (sorry, no audios of meg ryan's now-famous fake orgasm); the reprise years - frank sinatra (ol' blue eyes at his best).
