carried home

you have accomplished in your 23 years what many only dream of achieving in a lifetime. you have sown seeds of inspiration in many lives, seeds that will be watered by as many tears as they bid you goodbye.

perhaps it's true. you have fulfilled your purpose and done God's will for you...and so He has carried you home. in our foolish eyes it is much too soon but it is perfect in God's time.

i harbour just one regret - i never told you that i caught your ridiculously stubborn and contagious faith in this country!

i had great hopes for you and i guess that's what saddens me most.

"i have fought the good fight, i have finished the race, i have kept the faith. finally, there is laid up for me the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous Judge, will give to me on that Day."
