not every movie

i'm not a big batman fan and i'm not about to turn into one overnight. everything i know about batman, i learned from the cartoons i watched as a child and from eyeris' blog. i am, however, someone who enjoys a good movie.

not every movie can draw an audible gasp from my lips. not every film can leave me wishing the chaos would end yet thirsting for more. not every big screen character can evoke a sense of fear and confusion with its every appearance, every uttered syllable. not every blockbuster can make me chuckle at the subtle ironies in even the most serious of scenes.

but "the dark knight" can. it could. it did.
