medicine and faith

i was initially going to blog about this and this, but i realised that i did not have sufficient background knowledge about law, ethics and the Bible to do the topic any justice. the only thing i can say is that i was filled with rage when i read about the case.

as a christian and a student of medicine, i felt conflicted about the situation. but there was no mistaking the anger i felt towards the mother who let her daughter die from a condition that could have been reversed with insulin and fluids.

what does that say about where i stand?
