easy to lie

it's so easy to lie. so simple to take things at face value. it's not very difficult to pretend and gain respect and sympathy for it. or move people by a nicely-crafted story. people like words that sound good to them, make them feel better about themselves. a little less guilty, a little more loved.

it's so easy to lie.

it's even easier to believe a lie.

and even more so to use those facts to your advantage.
